Make music with the Great River Community Band!
We are currently on a bi-weekly winter schedule, and we would love to have you join us for rehearsal!
The Great River Community Band is open to all instrumentalists with a love for music and fun. Currently the
organization consists of approximately 40 musicians ranging from ages 13 through ....! Members are from a tri-county
area which includes communities such as Monticello, St. Michael, Albertville, Elk River, Rogers, Buffalo, Big Lake and
Becker.
Haven't played an instrument in a while? Dust it off and join us for a rehearsal! Rehearsals are on Tuesday nights at
7:00 pm, Monticello High School Band Room when we don't have a performance. We welcome new members of all
ages at any time during our concert seasons. Please contact Shanne (763-843-9118) or Dave (763-238-8627) if you
have any questions about joining us!
We welcome all new members regardless of instrument; however, currently we are specifically in need of people who
play the following instruments:
Flute
Horn
Saxophone (all varieties)
Trombone
Tuba
Percussion
We love performing free neighborhood concerts on Tuesday evenings! If you are interested in having us come to your
neighborhood to make music, please contact our scheduling coordinator, Dave (763-238-8627).
